How to create and manage FTP Accounts?

FTP accounts

To create and manage your websites FTP(File transfer protocol) accounts, you can use this interface:

1: Add FTP accounts:

You can perform following steps to create FTP accounts:

Step 1: Login to control panel and click on FTP accounts:

Step 2: Enter the desired username in the Log In text box.
 
 

Step 3: Enter and confirm the new password:

Step 4: Enter the FTP account’s home directory.

Step 5: Enter the disk space quota, or select Unlimited.

Step 6: Click Create FTP Account.

2: Change Password:

You can perform following steps to change FTP accounts password:Step 1: Click Change Password for the FTP account for which you wish to change the password.

Step 2: Enter and confirm the new password in the appropriate text boxes.



Step 3: Click Change Password.



3: Delete FTP accounts:

You can perform following steps to Delete FTP accounts:

  1. Click Delete for the FTP account that you wish to remove.
  2. Click the desired deletion option:
    • Delete Account — Remove the FTP account only. This will not remove the files that the FTP account’s home directory contains.
    • Delete Account and Files — Remove the FTP account and all of the files that the FTP account’s home directory contains.
